Lost Souls
Carousel Films was honored to serve as story consultant on "Animas Perdidas" ("Lost Souls"), a Mexican-Amerian filmmaker's poignant discovery of abuse and addictions in her own family history as she investigates why her uncle was deported. The filmmaker and I worked hard to shape the story, and this evening, it's on Independent Lens. Congratulations, Monika Navarro.
